This film relates the history of Auschwitz since the Auschwitz WW2 tragedy.

For 70 years, the site, which has become the grim embodiment of the Holocaust, has been the scene of hijackings and clashes, looting, attempts at exploitation and various storytelling... Beyond the factual account, the documentary brings to life the various questions that arose: what to do with the Auschwitz site? What purpose should it serve?

Today, as the last survivors disappear, new perils arise: the danger of mass tourism, or the temptation of the city and its inhabitants to erase a nightmare. For this story is also about the ongoing struggle of various protagonists to keep Auschwitz alive as a place of remembrance and transmission. A tormented story, never told, whose future is being written today.
