Plastic is everywhere: from the placenta of pregnant women to the most remote corners of the planet.

On the shores of the Etang de Berre, one of France's most polluted areas, a team of content creators, scientists and volunteers from the Wings of the Ocean association embark on a waste-picking challenge, a veritable “Eco Lanta”.

Through this challenge, the film offers an unfiltered look at the history of plastic: from its invention to its omnipresence in our daily lives. It questions our relationship with this formidable material, explores its environmental impact and prompts each of us to reconsider our behavior, and even to take action.
