Georges Clemenceau, the Tiger's last love
Based on the story by Nathalie Saint-Cricq, I will help you live, you will help me die, published by Éditions de L'Observatoire
Marguerite, married and a mother, is inconsolable over the loss of her eldest daughter, Annette, when she meets Georges Clemenceau, the former President of the Council. The latter offers her a sort of pact: he will help her overcome her pain, she will accompany him in the twilight of her life. Between these two people, marked by hardship and time, a powerful, loving and profoundly human relationship gradually takes shape. Georges Clemenceau is a passionate, sometimes angry man, while Marguerite is discreet and reserved. Their love story is unlike any other.
Filmed in the very places where it took place, from the Vendée coast to the heart of Paris, via the gardens of Giverny, this story enthrals us with its intensity and emotion.
