Our Productions

The region of Afar in Ethiopia, a vast area of more than 96,000 km2, shelters one of the greatest geological diversity in the world. It is here that for centuries, the nomadic people of the Afar has lived.  In the footsteps of volcanologist Haroun TAZIEFF, YouTuber Experimentboy (who you can follow on YouTube channel String Theory), and explorer Chris HORSLEY hike the Erta Ale volcano to collect a lava sample from the center of its crater.

Their challenge is significant: to better understand this singular area of the world, its topography, history and civilization, but also to better understand our planet, its origin and its future. A unique adventure mixing science and culture, to the cradle of the planet and humankind!
